The second sound of echo, 2023

Sarah Brahim talks about her video installation “The second sound of echo”, 2023, presented in the first room of the exhibition “Sometimes we are eternal”: “In the first room, we see a duet between myself and my father. I asked him to try to make a spark, and it ended up following his heart beat and his breath just naturally as he tried to do this gesture. Then on my own, I recorded myself amplifying my own heartbeat by making echo sounds to the chest”.
